On June 12, 2026, the Supreme People’s Court issued a review ruling on the sales ban against Infineon imposed by the Suzhou Intermediate Court, clearly upholding the original judgment. All Infineon gallium nitride (GaN) products are banned from sale, offer for sale, and import in China effective immediately. Innoscience has secured a final victory in this patent showdown. Earlier, on May 27, the Suzhou Intermediate Court made a first-instance judgment: Infineon was found to have infringed two core GaN invention patents held by Innoscience, was ordered to immediately cease the infringing acts, and pay Innoscience a total of 10 million RMB in damages. The judgment took immediate effect.
