On June 2, MiMo officially announced a special “Welcome Back” benefit exclusively for historical paying users (i.e., old subscribers whose plans have expired) under the MiMo Token Plan. The specific reward is a Token Plan or gift card corresponding to the user’s previous tier, each valid for one calendar month. This fulfills the promise made in the May 27 API price reduction announcement of “announcing a surprise gift within a week.” In terms of the price reduction background, the MiMo-V2.5 series API saw price cuts ranging from 57% to 99%, and the Token Plan billing system was simultaneously optimized, with usage increased to 5 to 8 times the original amount, and no longer distinguishing between different context window lengths. The changes took effect globally as of midnight on May 27. On the technical side, MiMo head Luo Fuli explained that the core reason is that the inference framework now supports layered KV cache optimization for SWA, increasing cache token capacity by 5 times and significantly reducing cache costs.
