ByteDance's Doubao video generation model Seedance 2.5 unveiled at Volcano Engine Conference, officially launching in early July

On June 23, at the Volcano Engine Force conference, ByteDance’s Doubao video generation model, the latest version Seedance 2.5, was officially unveiled. According to Phoenix Technology, the new version delivers three core upgrades: each video can be up to 30 seconds long, breaking the common industry limit of 15 to 20 seconds; it supports the joint input of up to 50 full-modality materials, stably retaining complex material details during generation; and it offers flexible local editing capabilities, allowing modifications to specific areas without altering the overall picture. Seedance 2.5 is currently in the final stage of internal testing and is expected to be officially launched in early July.
