A single verification typically takes under five minutes. Regarding data processing, ID images and selfies are stored on Persona’s systems, not on Anthropic’s servers. Anthropic acts as the data controller, setting usage rules and retention periods, while Persona may only use the data for verification and fraud prevention purposes, not for any other use.
The page also lists three explicit commitments: verification data will not be used for model training, no information beyond what is strictly necessary will be collected, and data will not be shared with third parties (except as required by legal proceedings).
