Seres humanoid robot debuts, will launch bipedal, quadrupedal, and wheeled embodied AI products this year

According to an exclusive report by Sina Tech, Seres is accelerating its layout of embodied intelligence and plans to officially launch multiple embodied intelligent robots — including bipedal, quadrupedal, and wheeled models — within 2026. Recently, Seres Auto Chairman Zhang Zhengping, together with AITO M9 brand ambassador Huang Bo, visited the Seres Super Factory, where the Seres humanoid robot made its first public appearance. Video footage shows that the robot has already been put into practical operation, with application scenarios spanning industrial manufacturing (B-end) and service reception (C-end) across multiple dimensions.

Insiders say Seres is pushing its automotive business toward L4+ embodied intelligence, with vehicle business synergy at the core — covering retail, service, and companionship scenarios on the C-end, while deploying manufacturing and logistics on the B-end. Seres previously partnered with ByteDance’s Volcano Engine to build the AIVA brand smart car. The unveiling of this embodied intelligent robot signals that Seres is using its automotive manufacturing capabilities as a foundation to extend into broader physical AI scenarios.
