According to information published on the Xi’an Construction Project Approval System on June 1, the interior decoration and curtain wall renovation project for the Apple Store at Xi’an Mixc Shopping Center, submitted by Apple Electronics Products Commerce (Beijing) Co., Ltd., has officially entered the construction permit approval stage. The public notice shows that the retail store will be located on the first floor of Xi’an Mixc Shopping Center, at No. 2899 Chang’an South Road, Qujiang New District, Xi’an, in units L134, L135 and L136.
The progress of this project means that the highly anticipated Xi’an Apple Store is basically a done deal. It is reported that the store will be located in the southeast corner of the Mixc “Tree of Life” projectfiles. Once open, it will become the first Apple Store in northwest China and also the 60th retail store opened by Apple in the Greater China region. Construction barriers have been set up at the property site, but Apple has not yet disclosed the specific opening date.
