Elon Musk replies "True" to tweet linking Vivian Wilson's transition to his Twitter acquisition, as her second Savage X Fenty campaign drops

Vivian Wilson, 22, the transgender model and estranged daughter of Elon Musk, has been cast in Savage X Fenty’s 2026 Pride campaign — her second collaboration this year with Rihanna’s lingerie brand, following her appearance in the Valentine’s Day “Love So Savage” collection in January. Campaign images show Wilson in a coordinated black lingerie set with beaded detailing; the brand’s social media copy celebrated her as “exactly who she said she is.” Wilson, who legally changed her name in 2022 and has publicly spoken about her financial independence from Musk, has become one of the more visible transgender figures in mainstream fashion advertising, having also walked for Alexis Bittar, Prabal Gurung, and Chris Habana in the past year.

The new campaign drew fresh attention on May 31 when X user @SydSteyerhart posted that Vivian’s transition was the catalyst for Musk’s political involvement and his acquisition of Twitter. Musk replied “True” — publicly endorsing the claim that the estrangement from his daughter shaped his political trajectory. Musk has been publicly estranged from Wilson since she came out as transgender in 2020, and court documents from her 2022 name-change filing cited her desire to no longer be associated with her biological father “in any way, shape or form.” The “True” reply drew wide circulation on X and reignited commentary about the intersection of Musk’s personal life and his political positions.
