On June 22, Alibaba released the HappyHorse 1.1 video generation model, which has been comprehensively upgraded over version 1.0 in five dimensions: dynamic expression, subject consistency, instruction following, visual texture, and audio capabilities. The technical specifications remain consistent with the previous version, with a single generation duration of 3 to 15 seconds, support for 720p and 1080p resolutions, and free aspect ratios. The new version is now available on the HappyHorse official website, Alibaba Cloud Bailian, and Qianwen Cloud.
In this update, the multi-image reference video generation (R2V) capability has been strengthened, enabling more precise visual restoration for complex creative needs such as products, characters, and scenes; for instruction following, new long-context semantic understanding and scene planning capabilities have been added; on the audio side, the generation of dialogue speech rate, pauses, and background sound effects have been optimized, and audiovisual misalignment has been further reduced. At the same time, HappyHorse, together with Tiger Whale Entertainment Group, has launched the „Horsepower“ AI Film Competition, with winners receiving one-million-yuan commercial contracts. Directors and producers such as Zhang Jizhong serve as judges, and users can register for the competition on the HappyHorse official website.
