DJI officially launched the Osmo Pocket 4P pocket cinema camera on June 15, starting at ¥3,799, with sales beginning at 8 p.m. on June 23. The biggest highlight of the new product is the first-ever dual main camera system: the wide-angle end is equipped with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, while the mid-telephoto end features an equivalent 60mm F1.8 large-aperture lens (with a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor), enabling up to 12x optical zoom. Other specifications include a 17-stop ultra-high dynamic range, the first introduction of the 10-bit D-Log 2 professional color mode, 4K/240fps super slow motion, three-axis mechanical stabilization with telephoto intelligent tracking, and in-camera live photo capture. The product is available in black and white.
The Osmo Pocket series is positioned as a portable photography product for individual creators. The Pocket 4P replaces the optical zoom solution from its predecessor with a second main camera, aiming to balance wide-angle storytelling and mid-telephoto portrait composition, while bringing the professional color workflow (D-Log 2) to this product line for the first time. In terms of the accessory ecosystem, DJI has also introduced a wireless video transmission controller, with specific pricing yet to be disclosed.
