DataPasa Germany KVM VPS – Hetzner node with Ryzen 9 3900, 1GB RAM at just $1.79/month

About DataPasa

DataPasa is a KVM VPS provider registered in the UK (Companies House No. 17164297, registered in April 2026). Its servers are located at Hetzner data centers in Germany. The provider rents dedicated hardware and builds its own KVM virtualization layer rather than reselling Hetzner products directly. Its official website is datapasa.com, and customer support is available via email and WhatsApp. It also offers a referral program where referrers earn 5% commission on every top-up made by their referred users. This is NodeInit’s first listing of this provider; since the company was founded less than three months ago, we recommend opting for monthly payments initially to assess its stability.

:admission_tickets: Promo code LET10 grants a 10% discount for the first month only; regular pricing applies after that.
If LET10 does not work, try LEB10 or contact the provider via ticket to confirm valid codes.

:warning: These promo codes apply exclusively to the first month and are non-recurring discounts. Renewal prices match the “Monthly Price” column in the table below; there are no price hikes upon renewal, but no long-term discounts either.

Plan vCPU RAM Storage Monthly Data Allowance Port Speed IPv4 IPv6 Renewal Price Monthly Price Discounted First-Month Price Order Link
VPS-1 1 1 GB 16 GB NVMe 1 TB 1 Gbps fair usage 1 /64 $1.79/month (regular price) $1.79 $1.61 Order Now

VPS-3 2 4 GB 64 GB NVMe 32 TB 1 Gbps fair usage 1 /64 $6.99/month (regular price) $6.99 $6.29 Order Now

:warning: VPS-1 offers only 1 TB of monthly data, while VPS-2 and VPS-3 provide 32 TB each – the difference is huge. Users with high data needs should opt for VPS-2 or higher directly.

Backup slots, AES-NI, VM-x/AMD-V: Sources are undisclosed. After purchasing, run YABS to verify these features and share results in comments.

YABS Benchmark Guide

After purchasing, run the following command and post the full output in the comments section (NodeInit compiles a list of all test results):

curl -sL yabs.sh | bash -s -- -i -g

Key metrics to pay attention to:

Metric What to Look For
AES-NI :white_check_mark: The Ryzen 9 3900 hardware supports it, so it should be Enabled.
VM-x/AMD-V :white_check_mark: AMD-V is supported at hardware level, so it should be Enabled.
fio 4K Random Read NVMe drives should achieve ≥ 300 MB/s; SATA SSDs should reach ≥ 100 MB/s. This helps determine the actual storage type.
Actual iperf3 Bandwidth Verifies the real outbound speed of the German node.
Geekbench 6 Single-Core (GB6) Score For Zen 2 platforms, scores between 1000–1300 are average.
CPU Steal (top %st) A sustained value >5% indicates overcommitment; >10% means severe overcommitment.

Geekbench version: Use GB6 only (not GB5); do not mix scores from both generations.

Current Test Results Summary (awaiting community submissions):

NodeInit Editor’s Review

Post Type: A (KVM VPS)

Recommended Use Cases: The German Hetzner nodes offer low latency for European users. VPS-2 (2GB RAM / 32TB monthly data allowance / $3.49/month) offers the best cost-performance ratio – you get 32TB of monthly data and /64 IPv6 coverage for under $3.5 per month. It also fully supports cryptocurrency payments. The prepaid balance system eliminates risk of being locked into long-term contracts. Ideal for low-latency lightweight applications in Europe, personal blogs, proxy services etc.

Potential Pitfalls::warning: Newly registered merchant (April 2026 – important): Records from UK Companies House show that DataPasa was registered in April 2026, less than three months ago. The previous companies under the same owner, MTK Global and PureServers, were dissolved in March 2026 (per community intel; the merchant himself has confirmed this), with “sale” cited as the reason. The transition period between the old and new companies is extremely short, and there’s virtually no operational history. It’s recommended to opt for monthly payments for initial purchases only, and keep monitoring service stability before committing to long-term use.

:warning: Promo code applies only to the first month, non-recurring discount: LET10 is valid solely for the first month (giving a 10% discount); subsequent renewals follow the regular price. Compared to merchants offering recurring discounts, there’s no extra cost advantage over the long term, so please evaluate cost-effectiveness based on the standard price.

:warning: VPS-1 offers just 1TB of monthly data – a huge gap compared to VPS-2’s 32TB: Paying an extra $1.70/month gets you 32TB instead of 1TB; unless your actual data usage is truly minimal, VPS-1 offers far less value than VPS-2.

:warning: Inconsistent descriptions of node storage (SSD vs NVMe): Official package descriptions list “NVMe SSD”, yet node specs only mention “2× 1.92TB SSD” with no mention of “NVMe”. Under software RAID-1 setups, random read/write performance differences between SATA SSDs and NVMe drives can reach 3–5 times. After purchasing, please run fio and share results in a reply to verify the actual storage type.

:warning: Ryzen 9 3900 is a consumer-grade Zen 2 CPU released in 2019: Its single-core performance is average (estimated at 1000–1300 on GB6), making it less suitable for scenarios demanding high single-core power, such as high-frequency trading or real-time inference.

:warning: Tax inclusion status remains unclear: The company is registered in the UK while servers are hosted in Germany; prices are listed in USD. EU/UK users may be subject to VAT, so check tax breakdowns during checkout.

:warning: Paid reviews on Trustpilot ($2 credit incentive): The merchant offers account credits to encourage users to leave reviews; though only those with active services qualify, this model risks skewing review objectivity. Keep this in mind when consulting Trustpilot ratings.

:white_check_mark: /64 IPv6 addressing is properly allocated; crypto payments are accepted; prepaid balances can be cancelled at any time; a 99.9% SLA is guaranteed; VPS-2’s $3.49/month price point for 32TB of data is quite competitive among German-hosted plans.

Five-dimensional rating:

Dimension Score Notes
Cost-effectiveness :star::star::star:☆☆ VPS-2 and VPS-3 offer large data allowances at low prices, making them competitive; VPS-1’s minimal data quota lowers its value
Network quality :star::star::star::star: Hetzner’s German nodes boast mature network infrastructure; actual performance awaits community validation
Hardware level :star::star::star:☆☆ Ryzen 9 3900 (2019 model) paired with software RAID-1; storage type details still need confirmation
After-sales support :star::star:☆☆☆ New merchant; WhatsApp text-based support is niche, and response quality remains unproven
Transparency :star::star:☆☆☆ Inconsistent storage type descriptions, promo code confusion (LET10 vs LEB10), plus a newly registered entity with limited background warrant attention
