Leaked live comparison photos: Galaxy Z Fold 8 wide-screen version and "Ultra" narrow model side by side; both models expected to launch on July 22

On May 30, well-known tipster Ice Universe posted a photo comparing physical dummy models of two Galaxy Z Fold 8 variants, clearly showing the shape difference between the standard Fold 8 with a wider screen and the variant labeled “Ultra” with a narrower design. According to 9to5Google, this leak is the clearest physical representation yet of the size difference between the two models — the wider Fold 8 adopts a new unfolded aspect ratio, looking more like the wide-screen design path rumored about Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone; while the model named “Ultra” actually continues the classic narrow-and-tall form that the Galaxy Z Fold series has stuck to in recent years — a naming logic that has puzzled many observers. Previous leaks also indicated that the Fold 8 series will significantly improve screen creasing and bring a long-awaited battery capacity upgrade. The two models are expected to be officially announced on July 22.
